Homesense
Homesense is an off-price home goods store with locations in 3 different continents. By prioritizing the customer experience and sourcing high-quality products from around the world, every trip to Homesense is unique.
During my 6 months as the Homesense Graphic Design Co-op, I was in charge of creating holiday-specific social media graphics, in-store signage, and various ad hoc projects, such as a creative feedback guide and comprehensive storefront window audit. For each project, I coordinated with the copywriters to get the content for my designs before presenting them to both the creative team and brand team for feedback and approval to release the deliverables.
When I started, the team was in the midst of implementing a brand redesign, so it was important to have conversations about how to use the new visual identity and transition our channels gradually to preserve public awareness of the Homesense brand.

Lunar New Year Signage
This project was the first time the Homesense team took on in-store signage for holidays throughout the year, so there was a communal learning curve to figure out how our visual identity and illustration style could combine with the icons, symbols, and meaning of the holiday in way that felt intentional and balanced in this new application.
Social Media Graphic Concepts
I also created a lot of holiday-specific social media posts and these are some of my favorite concepts that weren't chosen for various reasons.
